This is one of my favorite Lowell books. Very engaging and fun...warms the blood. Characters might be predictable but isnt that what a romance novel is about? I have a hard copy and also bought a copy to reread on my kindle. Love that my kids cant make fun of the titles of the books I am reading. This book has a companion book, about the sister of the main character...it was just rereleased again too.

The first of two books written by Ms. Lowell about "Big Eddie's children. However, I read "Dark Fire" first, so like it better than "Fever ." Both are good enough to read again, which is what I LOVE about Elizabeth Lowell books (they're the kind that can be read again and again).

One of the most beautiful stories! The theme and style are very well written band keep you involved to the end

Very good read, as usual. Love her books!
I love Elizabeth Lowell older stories the men are macho he-men , but she always turns the table on them. This is a beautiful story but she shares wordage from other of her stories.
