Books reviews
This is the first book I've read by this author, and was captivated by the first chapter. Helena and Jake both have painful secrets from their pasts that have cut them off from future happiness. But when Helena's father was killed, she turned to Jake for his help. After Jake was shot and left for dead, you have to wonder if it was a coincidence, or if there is something going on and who is behind it? Is it the reclusive mountain man, or the suave judge? Throw in some sexual tension, a few nights under the stars, and you've a book that you can't put down!
This was a book I read a long time ago and Danielle Steel was at her best when writing this book as I just read her book again. If you want to read a fiction book this will put you at ease and enough to reread this book. I had a library of large hard cover books before the Kindle came out and had every one of Danielle Steel's books plus many other authors. I donated all of my books which were numerous in count and now have the kindle. She wrote the Crossing in 2009 and it is a must read especially when you on holidays by the ocean Its a book you will turn to for a reread. Excellent!!!!
The story was very interesting with a solid plot. It moved along and held my interest. Nice to read love stories that feel right.
melody of you
She just has a way of telling great stories. This is a very good read.
set in the time of world war II - gives some historical insight and ability to envision in that era. Character well thought out and captured for the perio.
Riveting book. Couldnot lay it down. Even got my husband hooked on the books.
I enjoyed reading Crossings. I did not want to stop and picked it up to read whenever I could. I am interested in the World War II time in history and while I am not sure it was all accurate, it made for a good read. I have read many of Danielle Steel's novels and I think this one was a good one.
My sister's review: Must read for Danielle Steel fans
