Security and file handling

BooPDF processes files only for the tool you choose, keeps storage temporary, and avoids using uploaded documents for unrelated purposes.

Temporary file storage

Uploaded files are stored in private object storage and are deleted after the short retention window needed to process the job. Current default retention is one hour for uploads and four hours for generated results.

Transport and access

Files are transferred over HTTPS. Downloads use temporary URLs or application-controlled routes so results are not intended to be public permanent links.

Passwords and protected PDFs

Passwords entered for Protect PDF and Unlock PDF are used only for the requested operation. BooPDF does not store document passwords, and Unlock PDF requires the current password instead of attempting to crack protected files.

Analytics, ads, and consent

Consent Mode defaults analytics and advertising storage to denied before third-party tags load. Visitors can update their choices through the cookie banner. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
